DESCRIPTION:
This building was previously a manufacturing facility and required a complete demolition, including all mechanical and plumbing systems. New England Sheet Metal and Mechanical Co. (NESM) did the install of a variable refrigerant flow (VRF) HVAC system at the majority of the building. This is the largest system of this type in the central valley, and includes 3 miles of ductwork, 4 miles of refrigerant piping, and 6 miles of controls cabling. The plumbing includes new water and waste piping to 230 new fixtures. This building will serve as a single point of interaction for all DSS clients, and features a large (300+person) lobby, with an open ceiling and exposed ductwork.
